Coach Factory Outlet

Last Updated: April 22nd, 2026

The Coach Factory Outlet at Woodbury Commons has two outlets at the mall: the main store at 303 Red Apple Court and a separate Men’s store at 254 Red Apple Court. Both stock handbags, wallets, belts, shoes and accessories at 30–65% off retail. On our visits we’ve found the biggest markdowns on the clearance wall at the back of the main store — it’s worth heading there first if you’re bargain-hunting.

Quick Info: Main Store: Hudson Valley District (303 Red Apple Court) | Men’s Store: 254 Red Apple Court | Phone: 845-928-4465 | View Map | Get Coupons

Location

Both Coach outlets are strategically located in the Hudson Valley District (brown area on the mall map) on Red Apple Court. It’s the busiest district in the mall, close to the Market Hall and the main food court. During peak weekends (Black Friday, holiday season, summer Saturdays) security sometimes runs a short queue outside the main Coach store — we’ve rarely waited more than 10 minutes. Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger and Kate Spade are all within a two-minute walk. Both Coach stores follow standard Woodbury Commons hours.

What to Expect at This Location

The Coach Factory Outlet is one of the busiest stores at Woodbury Common — international tour groups make a beeline for it. If you arrive before 11am on a weekend you’ll usually walk straight in; between noon and 3pm on Saturdays in peak season, expect a short queue outside—typically waiting less than 10 minutes. Use the interactive mall map to plan your approach and identify both Coach locations.

Inside, everything is on sale. The clearance wall at the back is the first stop for bargain hunters — bags, wallets, scarves and the occasional pair of shoes at the deepest markdowns. There’s a seating area near the entrance if someone in your group isn’t shopping. Checkout lines move quickly; even on a busy Saturday we’ve been through in under 20 minutes.

The Men’s store across the way carries leather travel bags, briefcases, watches and outerwear—from watches to outerwear. It’s usually far quieter than the main store. Both locations stock outlet-exclusive styles alongside current-season leftovers. Keep an eye out for printed coupons handed out at the entrance during peak periods — they usually knock an extra 20–30% off a single item.

Save Money Tip: Grab entrance coupons offering 20-30% additional discounts when available. Check the clearance wall first for the deepest markdowns. Stack your savings with Woodbury Commons coupons.

About Coach

Coach was founded in 1941 in a Manhattan loft on 34th Street as a family-run workshop where six skilled artisans handcrafted leather wallets and billfolds. The brand’s distinctive approach to leather began when Miles Cahn, who joined the company in 1946, noticed the unique properties of baseball glove leather. He was inspired by how the leather became softer and more supple with use, leading to the development of Coach’s signature glove-tanned cowhide—buttery soft yet incredibly durable.

In 1961, Miles and his wife Lillian Cahn purchased the company and hired legendary fashion designer Bonnie Cashin as Coach’s first Creative Director. Cashin revolutionized the brand by introducing side pockets, coin purses, vibrant colors beyond traditional browns and tans, and the iconic turnlock hardware—inspired by the toggle on her convertible car’s roof. Her 1969 Cashin Carry bag became an instant New York icon and remains a bestseller today in reimagined versions.

The Cahns sold Coach to Sara Lee Corporation in 1985 for $30 million. Under new ownership and the leadership of Lew Frankfort, who joined in 1979, Coach transformed from a small leather goods manufacturer into a global luxury brand. The company opened its first flagship store on Madison Avenue in 1981, establishing Coach as synonymous with accessible American luxury. By the 1990s, designer Reed Krakoff modernized the brand with fresh colors and contemporary styles, attracting younger generations while maintaining Coach’s heritage of quality craftsmanship. Coach is now part of Tapestry Inc., which also owns Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman — both of which have outlets at Woodbury Common.
